Here's what we do...
- Manage the Community Centre, which involves:
- Maintenance of building, gardens and equipment
- Calendar Bookings
- Invoicing Bookings
- Keeping up to date with legislation
- Keeping the accounts
- Run the Village News, which involves:
- Gathering and sorting copy, via post and email
- Editing
- Managing the Advertising and revenue
- Managing the Distribution
- Hold a “ Wine and Mince Pies” celebration at Christmas for Distributors
- Manage the Affiliated Societies, which involves:
- Dealing with applications for affiliation
- Communicating with all affiliated societies
- Manage the revenue
- Run the Village Fete, which involves:
- Manage the publicity
- Co-ordinating all the participants
- Organising the field for the day
- Acting roles on the day
- Erecting the marquees
- Managing the revenue
- Meet once a month to handle any issues or queries
- Support and discussion for all members
- Keeping accurate Minutes
- Hold an Annual General Meeting each year
